February 27, 2011. Nicknamed "Il Campionissimo", (Champion of Champions), the late Fausto Coppi was the dominant international cyclist during the 1940's and early 1950's. He was the winner of the Giro d' Italia five times, theTour de France twice, and numerous spring classics. When a reporter asked him what it takes to become a great champion, he responded "Ride your bike, ride your bike, ride your bike".

December 31, 2010. The Windbreakers final ride for 2010 started with a cold 7 am start from Encanto Park in Duarte then down the San Gabriel River bike trail to Seal Beach. Beautiful, clear day, lots of water in the river from record December rains. Ride On and Happy New Year!
