February 18, 2016. Big news from Windbreaker Country! Several of our members and friends have signed up to participate in the 2016 edition of Cycle Oregon, a weeklong recreational bike ride held annually in the state of Oregon. This year, the ride theme is "Go for Gold", and will start in Myrtle Creek, passing through Camas Valley, Bandon, Gold Beach, Indian Mark Park along the Rogue River, Glendale, eventually returning to Myrtle Creek. Depending on route options, the ride will cover 365-457 miles and 25,853-33689 vertical feet of climbing. Ride dates are September 10-17; info at www.cycleoregon.com.
